Enhancing the lives of
developmentally disabled
citizens in our community

T here are three different levels of LARC membership: Provisional Members, Active Members and Sustaining Members.

PROVISIONAL MEMBERS are first year members who are required to complete a provisional training course which includes:
• An introductory meeting and coffee.
• A Tour of various ARC Fresno facilities.
• Attendance at one LARCS Board Meeting.
• Attending General Meetings, but not voting or holding an office.
• Pay annual dues.
• Presence at all of these meeting and tours is required.

ACTIVE MEMBERS
• Have completed provisional training.
• Pay annual dues.
• Attend monthly meetings (fourth Wednesday evening of each month, except November, December, June, July and August).
• Serve on a committee for annual Bundles Event as well as attending.
• Serve on a committee for annual fundraising Dinner Dance as well as
   attending.
• Serve on a Standing Committee

SUSTAINING MEMBERS
• Former Active Members in good standing for seven or more years.
• Requested sustaining membership.
• Pay annual dues.
• May attend meetings.
• Cannot vote or serve on the Executive Bd.
• Are invited to, but are not required to work on or attend major
   fundraising activities.
